Market Research Analyst
Job Description: The Market Research Analyst will be responsible for researching and analyzing market conditions across local, regional, national, and online markets to determine the potential sales of our products. This role involves planning marketing and advertising campaigns, gathering and analyzing data on competitors, prices, and distribution methods, and providing strategic recommendations. The analyst will also employ search marketing tactics, analyze web metrics, and develop strategies to enhance our search engine rankings and visibility in target markets.
Specific Job Duties:
- Conduct market research and collect data on consumer demographics, preferences, and needs.
- Perform competitor analysis, including evaluation of pricing strategies and market positioning.
- Analyze and interpret data using statistical tools (e.g., Program R, SQL) to develop actionable insights.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing and sales strategies.
- Prepare detailed reports and present findings to stakeholders.
- Optimize search engine rankings and analyze web metrics to enhance online visibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in market research and analysis.
- Strong analytical and statistical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Program R, SQL).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of SEO and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and techniques.
Working Conditions:
- The role is primarily office-based, with significant time spent on a computer conducting research and analysis.
- Occasional travel may be required to gather data or meet with clients and stakeholders.
Location: Tamuning, Guam
Wage Range: $40,186 to $41,000 per year
